Vetted Places to Eat

Burgers

You've tried the rest, now try the BEST burgers around Petaluma!

McNear's Bar & Grill

classic bar and grill style spot with full bar and great burgers.

Butcher Crown Roadhouse

This burger bites back.  A real smokehouse style burger with all the trimmings.

Pub Republic

While not one of the top Larkins Guide picks for burgers in town, Pub Republic has become a fan-favorite among tall goofy meteorologists and most locals as well.

South of the Border

It's always taco Tuesday around here at the Larkins Guide HQ. Here's our favorite Mexican food this side of Tijuana!

El Roy's

Best Tacos in all the land and the carnitas is derived from some godly swine that only the good folks at El Roy's seem to know the origin of.

Mi Pueblo - Petaluma

Best atmosphere for Mexican food.  while there may be better burritos or tacos singularly, there's no better location for kicking back and getting great service while sipping on delicious margaritas

Seafood

I don't eat fish.

Asian

Take a trip around the globe with us - but leave your chopsticks at home!

Spring Thai

Best god damned Thai food in town.

Hunan Village

This is the real deal old-school style Chinese food spot.  Lunch specials are huge and cheap and the sweet & sour sauce flows like wine.

Everest

Indian food like you wouldn't believe.

Classy Dining

These are places where you take your partner (men/women, we don't discriminate) for a fancy meal on date night. Or where you go with Paul.

Risibisi

Farm to table Italian/American fusion.  Try the wild boar gnocchi!

Seared

Moooooo-ve on over Stark's; Seared is the proper choice for a nice big steak or any other steakhouse classic.  You'll pay a pretty penny, but the food is dynamite.

Pizza

Great pizza places listed here - based both on the food and the overall experience and ambience.

Old Chicago Pizza

Deep dish pizza.  The deepest and the dishiest.  The restaurant is also in a super cool old-school brick building that use to be a brothel

Acre Pizza

Uninformed locals may say "wait - Acre is a coffee joint".  On the contrary, Acre is now not only a crowded hipster coffe spot downtown, but they also have a PIZZA-ONLY location down on the north end of the blvd by the Yucky-Lucky's.  Fantastic artisan pizza that is a must-try.

Heading on Down to Sando Town

We're big sandwich fans over at the LG corporate offices. The following places are 100% LG approved and are sure to knock your socks off.

Sonoma Sourdough Sandwiches

They bake their own (awesome) sourdough bread and they stack their sandos high!

Dandy Sandos

Shhh - it used to be Mr. Pickles, but one of the dudes that worked there bought them out and renamed it.  Don't worry - you can still get a Turkey Carmichael.

Lucchessi's Deli

Classic Italian style deli.  Try the cranberry/stuffing/turkey sando.

Lombardi's BBQ & Deli

This place has a regular deli that's decent and all, but the BBQ sandwiches and plates are the heavy-hitter at this spot.  Mama Lil's sando is the LG pick.
